DOCTORS’ CLIMB FOR BREAST CANCER

Mt. Wilhelm May 2015

Hospital Poroman Foundation in partnership with four (4) doctors from Paradise Private Hospital have teamed up to conquer Mt. Wilhelm on a climb for Breast Cancer to raise much needed funds to assist Paradise Private Hospital to purchase a mammogram.
This partnership aims to ultimately purchase this machine to enable a subsidized medical cost to our women in Papua New Guinea.
A mammogram costs about K300, 000. 00 and there is only about 3 mammograms in the country: 1 at Pacific International Hospital, the other one at the POM General Hospital and the third one in a private clinic in Madang. The one in Madang was donated through some overseas aid and is not in use because of lack of technical expertise.
The three mammograms around the country can barely support the female population in Papua New Guinea.
Breast Cancer is increasingly becoming one of the top killers of our women besides other killers and a mammogram will help our women who come for breast screening because only through early detection lives will be saved.
The point of difference about this initiative is that the out of the busy schedule, the doctors and their friends are climbing with an aim to raise funds for a very important cause: saving lives.
We hereby, seek sponsorship for each of the doctors and their friends and each one will be representing the sponsors with any marketing strategies between now and till the summit.
Above From Left to right: Dr Peter Kaminiel, Dr Mahlon C Paiva, Dr Haydee Paiva, Dr Arnold Waine & Janet Sios-the four (4) doctors and their friends that are taking part in the climb for Breast Cancer.
We would be grateful for your kind consideration and favorable response to this important cause.

Below is the account details if you are interested to sponsor any of the four doctor or their friends.
