Rare Beauty - Angore, Hela Province. Papua New Guinea

Gee I haven't been around here for a long while...or haven't had the time to drop a note either.

Well I've been very busy at work and experiencing a lot while at it as well. Dealing with the Hela people takes a lot of patience and skill.

I often admire my colleagues when they're in the fore-front trying to calm or deal with a landowner. Not all is rosie working here but then again not all is intimidating and or stressful either.

Just the other day I flew into an area where the gas pipeline is aligned to run through and I could help but be distracted by the beauty of the forest and rivers that surrounded us.

I managed to take some shots from my new FujiFilm camera that I purchased on my recent trip to Cairns, Australia. I made a point to buy this camera because I knew I would be making similar trips, and didn't want to miss the opportunity at taking some shots of local faces and places.

Here are some shots that I took on my trip this week.
