2012 PNG Election Hype
The hype is on for the Papua New Guinea National Elections.
There are many new candidates who have put their hands up this time around, there are the sitting members and vetarans vying for the top job in their electorates.
There is also doubt on how accurate the common roll is and has got some politicians and intending politicians rasing their eyebrows.
It would be an interesting period in the life of PNG politics-it's people braise themselves to elect their chosen leaders.
For businesses, it would be a trying time as some would come to as stand still and so will many institutions of the country if the situation turns out nasty.
All in all, I hope this year is going to be peaceful and Papua New Guineans are more criticall of who they elect. Not because they (candidates) are their tribal mates, relatives or friends but because of good leadership, accountability and good governance. And realise that the choice we make we have a 5 year effect, for the good or bad.
We braise ourselves and wait.
