Tabubil
Well it's been awhile since I've written something. Maybe because I've been moving around so much, I didn't seem to have the time to write up something. Anyway, I am now in Tabubil, Western Province, Papua New Guinea. I work as a Broadcaster with Radio Fly, a radio station that services the OKTEDI Mining Limited staff & contractors as well as the communities that benefit directly or indirectly from the resource. It's been what, four months now since I joined and it's been good so far. I must admit it is quite different from commercial radio but it's a different challenge at that. The radio station I work for comes under the Community Relations Department of OKTEDI Mining Limited . Anyway, Tabubil is a small organised town compared to other small towns in the country.
